If you are already instructing exercise and fitness and wish to develop the specific knowledge and skills to be able to instruct Group Indoor Cycling then this qualification is for you. Alternatively if you are already instructing Group Indoor Cycling sessions but do not possess any formal qualification, this qualification will develop your knowledge further and provide you with the professional recognition to continue instructing.

Qualification: Central YMCA Level 2 Group Indoor Cycling Instructor Award
Prior to attending your course you will need to complete a small range of multiple choice assessments in our online learning area.
During the course you will be taught how to safely and effectively plan Indoor Cycling lessons- you will then be required to complete a lesson plan and submit this within 14 days of your training course.
Finally you will be required to teach a practical Group Indoor Cycling Session which will last approximately 45 minutes. This assessment is observed directly by one of our assessors and will take place on the last day of the training course. Following this assessment you will be required to complete a written evaluation of your performance identifying your strengths and areas for improvement.
As a student of Innervate Training you will have your own personal tutor helping you throughout the duration of your studies.
You will have regular contact with your tutor and you may contact them at anytime- we really are with every step of the way!
The online learning system you will use throughout your gym instructor course will provide you with instant feedback on your progress. You will also have access to the community learning forum where you can interact with fellow students and the 'Learner Support Tutors'. When you post a question within the forum, we will endeavour to reply within 24 hours.
You will need to hold a recognised Level 2 Certificate in Fitness Instruction.
This can be an Exercise to Music or Gym Instructor qualification.
This course is worth 20 points with the Register of Exercise Professionals (REPs)
