CYQ Level 3 PTTLS Course

The 4 training days are split over 2 weekends to give you plenty of time to digest all the information being delivered. During the training course, you will cover:

• How to design, deliver, assess and evaluate a structured programme of learning
• How to plan, teach and evaluate relevant and effective learning sessions where candidate interest and stimulation are maintained
• The principles of education, training, assessment and evaluation
• How to use a variety of teaching skills and learning resources to accomodate different learner needs and learning styles

More specifically you will complete:

• Roles and responsibilities of a teacher (essay)
• Legistlation and codes of practice affecting teaching (essay)
• Equality, diversity and inclusion (essay)
• Embedding functional skills into teaching practice (report)
• Teaching practice portfolio and professional discussion
• Assessment worksheets
• reflective journal
• micro teach to the group

During your initial 4 day training course you will get the opportunity to discuss with you course tutor on a 1 to 1 basis your progress and any other areas you need additional support.

You will receive written and verbal feedback on all of your assignments and assessments to give you the best opportunity of succes.

At any point during your training course, you will be able to contact a tutor at the Innervate Training office to get any additional support you require. Support is unlimited and you may contact us as many times as necessary.

In any evantuality, you should be occupationally competent in the subject and vocation you wish to teach with sufficient industry experience.
